Hi Dear family, Read the newsletter for the recent weekend camp by our teens group. Here are a few more testimonies from the ones who attended the event:
Troy - Through the numerous camps that i have gone to, this camp was an exceptional experience. I found new friends...gained leadership skills and most of importantly had the time to be with God. Beau - It was great because we did many fun stuff. And I met new friends and we had fun bonding with each other. Riz - My experience in the camp was great. I learned alot about God....had new friends, and learned not to mess up specially if there are demerits. Angeleo M. Marquez (13 yrs old) - My best experience throughout the camping was when we played songs after the activities. I also liked playing the games with the new members of VD Cherubz. I liked also the jamming with my friends. I. liked the activities n the camp bec we learned new lessons and enhanced our leadership skills. I wish we can have more campings. Oasis Gian Marquez (16 yrs old) - I thought the VD teen camping would be boring. I went to a lot of camping in our school but this one had more fun. I was surprised that the camping wasn't boring bec i thought it would be silent most of the time, but it was noisy with fun. There were games and music. Best of all we learned about God by not doing it in silence but doing it with fun. I hope that it was not the last and i wish there will be more camping. This was a Lenten recollection last March 8 held at Betania retreat house. There were 57 who attended the event which was facilitated by Fr. Gerson Ortiz, Fr. Michael Cheong and Sr. Gaby Rocha. Here are some photos of the event (c/o Sr. Gaby). Article: Verbum Dei “Break the Crystal Frame” Benefit Concert - Feb. 7, 2015 (by Patrick Tesorio)2/9/2015
